It is amazing but true. Highly rated consultants rarely go beyond common sense. Complex problems require only the simplest of solutions. Differences between views are often shallow. These concepts apply to the 2008 stock market.
Necessity is the mother of invention.
Creative instincts are honed during times of recession.
Iran says $115 for a barrel of crude oil is not enough. We cannot blame him for dairy product inflation. You are plain lucky if the costs of eggs and milk does not worry you. Cheap credit from the Fed helps traders hoard scarce farm produce. Most countries have made credit expensive. It is a standard way to reign in rising prices. Washington is a Super Power. It has offered Wall Street a string of credit concessions. Small buys have not benefited. What should you do?
Downsides must have upsides. Take heart and enjoy the rule of bears. Stock market sentiment can work against you. Losses await those who flow with the investment tides. That is why salmon is precious. It fights adversity to thrive. You can do the same with stock price trends.
The months ahead could be like stock car racing. You have to drive a regular assembly-line model. The competition is fierce. Better use the pit stop to look under the hood.
It is time for a whole new prescription. Pharmaceutical majors have always promised new drugs to substitute patent expiries. The stock market tends to react rapidly to every US FDA decision. Pharmaceutical stock prices rocket when a clinical trial looks good. These stock prices plummet with equal force when a generic producer offers the medicine at a fractional price. Why has this stock model changed?
Stock is not like a race horse. Offspring need not be like parents in business skills. Compare today’s Ford with the previous generation of Gates. A business Guru at the helm makes all the difference. However, investors rarely know until the stock has appreciated already. Do not lose hope though, you can spot winning stocks of tomorrow, by being aware of the following:
